Telemedicine is the process of providing health care from a distance using technology such as video-conferencing. It allows our providers to connect with their patients using a secure video conferencing platform, so they are able to see them face-to-face as if it were a regular in-office visit.

Equipment needed for a telemedicine visit:

  • Computer / Laptop / Tablet equipped with a camera, microphone, speakers and internet connection OR

  • Supported Smart Phones:
    Samsung: Galaxy s7 and up, One Plus 3t and up, Google: Pixel 3+, Apple: iPhone 7+ and up

  • Supported Browsers:
    Google Chrome, Microsoft Chromium Edge, Firefox, Safari+, or Safari 11+, Samsung Internet Browser

What to Expect: Your Telemedicine Visit

We have switched over to a new HIPAA-compliant, audio-video platform called Updox Telehealth.


Step 1: The Medical Assistant will call you 10-15 minutes before your appointment to ask you some questions and ask if you would like the visit link sent via text or email.

Step 2: Once you receive the visit link, you will click on it and enable your camera and microphone.

Step 3: Once your camera and microphone are lit up in green, you will be ready to start the visit.

*NOTE: Please make sure your volume is turned up on your speakers.
